Healthy-fit-fabulous!

22 years ago, everything was very different. Flashes of the 80’s still had influence in the early days of the new decade … It was 1990. The great wavy big hair styles where the bomb. The oversized plaid shirts and  high waisted skinny pants  were essential in those early days. No one had a cell phone. Nobody had Internet. Just a few had cable TV. “Dinossaur” was always on TV, and Droopy-Dee was the funniest thing on earth. My brothers and sister played Atari and Super Nintendo, and blew the cassettes when they were stuck. The “ipod” of that time was called Boombox, and “the cool kids” used to walk with it on the shoulder. And at home? The acetate disc player. 22 years ago, Madonna released her single ”Vogue”, AC /DC ”The Razors Edge”, Jon Bon Jovi sang ”Blaze of Glory” and Depeche Mode sang”Violator”. Justin Bieber didn’t exist. 22 years ago, “Dance With Wolves” won the Oscar for best picture and whoopy Goldberg  as Best Supporting Actress. People used to go to the cinema to watch “Edward Scissorhands”, “The Godfather III,” “Ghost,” “Pretty Woman” and “Home Alone”.You could smoke in cinemas, because smoking was the coolest thing ever. 22 years ago, awesome people were born, such as Emma Watson and David Archuleta. Some others died, like Jose Figueres Ferrer Costa Rica’s ex-president and the amazing Greta Garbo. EXACTLY 22 YEARS AGO , LISTENING ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE BY PHIL COLLINS … BETWEEN MADONNAS, MULTI-COLOR LEGGINS, SUPER MARIO AND MORTAL COMBAT GAMES, A LOT OF HAIRSPRAY AND VOLkSWAGEN VANS , I WAS BORN. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
