Hi! I’ve been getting too much asks lately, and I loooove all the love you give me trough them! but I’ve been spaming a lot my followers with so many asks lol… so I decided to do a Frecuent asked questions so you can check it before you ask me anything… :)
1. Can yo follow me back?
If you are a healthy weight loss blog, you’re losing weight the healthy way or you are recovering from a ED and you’re trying to get in to a healthy lifestyle, and want me to follow you, just put ”healthy” in my ask box and I’ll follow you right away. I’ll not be posting these asks because it would be too much spam.

3.How many time have take you to lose all that weight?
I started the weight loss journey on february 15 2011.
4. What’s BMI?
BMI means Body Mass index, and it’s the percentage of mass your body has. It lets you know, according to your height, wich is the range number for your to be in a healthy weight.
5. what’s my BMI and which should be my goal weight?

6. I’m in a healthy weight according to my BMI but I still “fat”. What should I do?
If you’re in a healthy weight and you still feel flabby, what you need is to exercise. If you workout at least 5 times per week, 30 min of cardio and maybe some strength workout 3 times per week (push ups, sit ups, weight lifts, squats, etc) you will lose the few extra fat inches you still have, and you will tone your muscles.
7. Whats BMR?
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the number of calories you should eat to mantain your weight.
8.Why is BMR important to know?
Because knowing your exact BMR according to your height, weight and age, you will know how much you need to eat to have a weight loss diet.

10. How much should I reduce my intake to lose weight?
It depends on you, but to lose about 2 pounds per week you should reduce it 500 cal. That way, if your BMR is 1700cal, you should have a 1200 net cal diet to lose 2 pounds per week. If you want to reduce it more, do it, but I do not recommend you to eat under 1000 cal bacuase you can get into starvation mode.
11. What’s starvation mode?
It’s a state your body gets when is not recieving enough nutrients. Your metabolism slows down and you lose weight, but it’s mostly water and muscle weight… not fat weight. Besides there is a point when you barely lose weight, and as soon as you eat normally again you gain all the weight back very very quickly.
12. I’ve been restricting my calorie intake a lot and I want to star eating healthy again, but I’m afraid of gaining all the weight back. What should I do?

13.Can you make me a diet plan??

14. How can I know if I binged?
There’s a difference between cheat and binge. When you cheat is when you eat something you’re not supposed to, such as a piece of cake or a banana split, but you can still count how much you ate and you still have control on what you ate during the day.
A binge happends when you compulsivly eat tons of food iat once, basically losing the count of how much you ate, and that usually goes over the 2000+ cal.
15. How can I prevent binging?
First of all, do not restrict your calorie intake. It’s the #1 cause of binging. Then, eat at least 5 times per day. 3 proper meals and 2 snacks. By doing this you will always feel full and axiety free.
And finally, have a 1 day treat per week. Choose 1 day per week. Friday night for example. And let yourself eat a small portion of soemthing you really want. Could be a slice of pizza or a piece of cake or anything you want.
The more your forbid something to yourself, the more you want it. If you know that you will be able to eat that thing you’re craving on, on friday night, you will be a lot more calm and less stressed, plus you will have an extra motivation during the week.
16. Can I gain weight by this “1 day treat”?
No. You need to eat at least 3500 lbs to gain just 1 pound. If you see that you gain something the nex day you eat this it’s not fat weight but food weight, and it will be gone in the next days by itself.
17.How can I stay motivated?
First of all, you need to have really good motivations to lose weight. I know it sounds silly but it’s true. If you want to do this to have this or that boy or to be popular or just “for summer”, let me tell you that you will lose motivation and posibly quit in no time.
Why? because these are not good and long term reasons. Losing weight is a huge lifestyle changing thing that you should just do for yourself. Boys come and go. Friends come and go. High school and college do too. Summer will be over in a few months. And then? What’s gonna happen with your weight loss? What’s gonna hppen with your healthy lifestyle?… Exactly. It will be gone just as that boy or just as summer.
If you do this for yourself, to be healthy and pure, to be fit, to be active, to wear the clothes you wanna wear and to live all the years you’re supposed to live I bet you that you will do this a lot better. You will always have motivation, because your motivation is YOU.
18. Did you did all the recipes in your blog?
Most of them. The rest are my own version of different recipes I saw online that I adapted to be low calorie and more fun and easy to make.

21. How can I make an “add page” of posts under an specific tag?
To do a tag add page, first of all you have to tag the posts you want to appear in that page under the same tag… for example “choices”. Then go to customize—-pages——add new page. In the part that says “page type” you choose the option redirect. In the cage that says: “redirect to” you put the url of your future redirected add page wich consists in:
your normal tumblr url/the world “tagged”/the tag you choose
So, for example, a tag page url should look like this:
skinnyandfabulous.tumblr.com/tagged/choices
Be sure mark the box that says: put a link to your page. and that’s it! :D
